Amy Walker, C.P.M. spoke at ISM-LA on October 4, 2007 regarding the upcoming CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) exam. The pilot exam is scheduled to be given in February, 2008. She is assisting ISM with instructor material for the review course.
Ms. Walker is Lifetime Certified in Purchasing Management (C.P.M.) and is a Certified Applications Consultant in Supply Chain Planning. She has worked for over 20 years in office products, manufacturing, financial firms and as a consultant and educator in these fields. She also holds a Masters degree in Econometrics and International Trade and has taught Purchasing Management, Business Statistics, and Business Integration at the University of Phoenix, University of South Dakota, and the University of Florida. Her students enjoyed overwhelming success in passing certification exams and are pleased with her ability to explain complex concepts in understandable terms.
